# Coding agents

> Let the Co-founder hand feature-gap builds to your own coding agent, which opens a pull request for you to review.

When the Co-founder spots a buildable feature gap — something competitors already ship and your reviews keep asking for — it can package the task and hand it to a coding agent you connect. The package holds the gap, the evidence, the target repository and guardrails. Your agent does the work and opens a pull request; Appeeky never runs your code.

> [!NOTE]
>
> A coding agent task is an action like any other: it waits in **Actions** for your approval and is never approved automatically by your autopilot level. Pull requests are drafts by default, so you review and merge.

## Supported agents

Connect one in **App Co-founder → Integrations → Coding agents**.

| Agent | What you need |
| - | - |
| **Cursor** | A Cursor API key and a GitHub repository. The task runs as a Cursor Cloud Agent and usage is billed to your Cursor account. No server needed. |
| **Hermes Agent** | Your Hermes gateway's public HTTPS URL and its API key. Optionally a channel where Hermes reports back, such as `slack`. |
| **OpenClaw** | Your OpenClaw gateway's public HTTPS URL with hooks enabled, and its hook token. Optionally an agent id and a delivery channel. |

Gateways must be reachable at a stable public HTTPS address; private and local addresses are rejected.

## How a task flows

**1. The Co-founder finds a gap**

The Engineering Intelligence specialist (or the main Co-founder) spots a feature gap from competitors and reviews.

**2. You approve the task**

A **Coding agent** action appears in **Actions** with the brief and the target repo.

**3. Your agent builds it**

The task is sent to your agent, which works in its own sandbox and opens a draft pull request.

**4. Track the result**

The action shows the run's status — queued, in progress, delivered or failed — and you can refresh it at any time.
