# Quickstart

> Set up the App Co-founder for your app and get your first briefing.

The setup wizard connects your app, starts keyword discovery and competitor tracking, and turns the Co-founder on with sensible defaults. Your first briefing can run right after.

> You need an Appeeky account on the **Startup plan** or higher. For revenue, conversion and review data, connect **App Store Connect** (or **Google Play Console**) in **Settings** first. An App Store Connect key with the **Admin** role is the only one that can read sales, analytics, reviews and in-app purchases.

## Set it up

**1. Open the setup wizard**

Go to **Dashboard → App Co-founder**. The first time, you'll see **Set up your AI co-founder**.

**2. Find your app**

Pick **App Store** or **Google Play**, choose the country, then search by app name, Apple ID, package name or store URL.

**3. Confirm**

Check that the app and developer are right, then confirm. Appeeky enables the Co-founder, queues keyword discovery and adds competitors to track.

**4. Run your first briefing**

On the last screen, choose **Run now** under **Run first briefing**. It takes a few minutes; the briefing appears under **Reports** and on the **Overview**. You can also turn on **AI Visibility** from the same screen.

> You can start one briefing per app every 24 hours by hand. Scheduled briefings run on their own.

## Make it yours

Open **App Co-founder → Settings**. Everything has a default, so change only what you care about:

| Tab | What to set |
| - | - |
| **General** | Which live apps get scheduled briefings. Mark an app as live in **My Apps** first. |
| **Business** | What your company and app are, who they're for, and hard rules the Co-founder must never break. See [Knowledge base](https://docs.appeeky.com/docs/cofounder/knowledge-base.md). |
| **Agent** | Persona, personality, briefing length and language. |
| **Schedule** | Days, time and timezone for briefings. |
| **Delivery** | Slack channel for the daily brief, public diary. |

Then connect where you want briefings to go: **App Co-founder → Integrations**. Briefings go to your account email by default. See [Integrations and delivery](https://docs.appeeky.com/docs/cofounder/delivery.md).

## When you trust it

The Co-founder starts in **read** mode: it proposes, you approve each action in **Actions**. When you're ready, switch to **write** mode and choose which action types it may run without asking. See [Actions and approvals](https://docs.appeeky.com/docs/cofounder/actions-and-approvals.md).
