# Settings

> Choose the Co-founder's voice, language, schedule and how much it may do on its own.

Open **App Co-founder → Settings**. Every setting has a sensible default, and changes apply from the next run.

## General

* **Master switch**: when off, no scheduled or signal-triggered runs fire.
* **Apps**: pick which live apps get scheduled briefings. Your plan limits how many. An app shows here once it's marked live in **My Apps**.

## Persona

The persona shapes **what** the Co-founder prioritizes.

| Persona | Focus |

| **CFO** | Unit economics, revenue, churn, pricing. Ranks by dollar opportunity. |
| **Growth** | The funnel from impressions to activation. Relentless on conversion. |
| **Product Manager** | Reads reviews for pain points and ties releases to rating swings |
| **ASO Specialist** | Keyword tables, character counts and rank |

You can add your own instructions on top of any preset.

## Personality

The personality shapes **how** the briefing reads.

| **Friendly mentor** | Warm, celebrates wins, frames challenges |

| **YC partner** | Demanding, drills into numbers, time-pressured |

## Length, language and depth

| Setting | Options |

| **Briefing length** | Short, Standard, Detailed. Plus **Leave revenue out**. |
| **Briefing language** | Auto (from your locale), English, Türkçe, Español, Deutsch, Français, Português, 日本語 |
| **Analysis depth** | *Quick*: fastest. *Standard*: the default. *Deep*: more research and a quality check before sending. |

## Automation

| Setting | What it controls |

| **Agent mode** | *Read*: propose only. *Write*: may also apply changes. |
| **Autopilot level** | 0–4, how much runs without asking |
| **Policy rules** | Block an action type, force approval, or log only |
| **Auto-approve** | Action types that skip approval (write mode only) |

| **Company Brain sync** | Notion pages or URLs kept in sync with your knowledge base |

## Schedule

* **Run cadence**: the days, time and timezone for scheduled briefings. With no days selected, scheduled briefings are off.
* **Proactive mode**: *Off*, *Mixed* or *Event only*, plus **Minimum signal severity**. See [Briefings](https://docs.appeeky.com/docs/cofounder/briefings.md#when-briefings-run).
* **Portfolio briefings**: a weekly retro for every live app.

## Models

In the **Appeeky desktop app**, **Settings → Model** lets you choose the AI provider and the models the Co-founder uses: a **research model** that digs into your data and a **synthesis model** that writes the briefing. You can also add your own API key for that provider.
