# App Store Connect CLI

> Run App Store Connect from your terminal, CI, or AI agent with appstore, its MCP server, and the hosted MCP.

`appstore` is a scriptable CLI, MCP server, and TypeScript SDK for the App Store Connect API. It covers every operation in Apple's official API: versions and metadata, App Review submissions, phased releases, builds, TestFlight, customer reviews, screenshots, in-app purchases, subscriptions, users, signing, and sales, finance, and analytics reports.

## Two ways to use it

**Hosted MCP**

Connect App Store Connect once in Appeeky (**Settings → Data sources**), then add the server with your [Appeeky API key](/docs/authentication.md):

Start with `appstore_list_apps`. The server is read-only until you add `"X-ASC-Allow-Writes": "true"`. See [Hosted MCP](/docs/store-cli-app-store-connect-hosted-mcp.md).

Commands that change App Store Connect need `--confirm`. Add `--read-only` to block writes entirely.

## Global flags

| Flag | Description |

| `--key-id <id>` | API key id |
| `--issuer-id <id>` | Issuer id (omit for Individual keys) |
| `--private-key <pathOrPem>` | Path to `AuthKey_XXXX.p8` or the PEM itself |
| `-a, --account <id>` | Named account from `~/.config/appstore/config.json` |
| `--app <appIdOrBundleId>` | App id (digits) or bundle id; defaults to the account's default app |
| `--json` | Machine-readable JSON output |
| `--read-only` | Block write operations |
| `--confirm` | Required for commands that change App Store Connect |

Most list commands also take `--limit`, `--all` (follow pagination), and `--max-items`.
