A briefing is the Co-founder’s main output: a short message that reads like a note from a co-founder who just reviewed all your data. Each one is saved as a report you can open later, and is delivered to your email and any channel you connect.

What’s in a briefing

Some sections only appear when they apply: a crisis section at the top during a review or revenue crisis, 📡 Competitor moves when a tracked competitor changed something, and 🧪 What you tried last sprint when a past change has a measured result. Every number comes from your connected data. When data is missing or delayed, the briefing says so instead of guessing.

When briefings run

Proactive mode (in Settings → Schedule) decides whether signals can trigger runs: Set Minimum signal severity to Medium or Critical only to control how much it takes to trigger a run. For short alerts that don’t replace your briefing, see Always-on.
Use the master switch in Settings → General to pause all scheduled and signal-triggered runs, for example while you’re on holiday.

Shape the briefing

Past briefings

  • App Co-founder → Reports lists every briefing, newest first. Open one to see the full briefing, the actions it proposed and the data behind it.
  • Overview shows the latest briefing, pending actions and goal progress across all your apps.
  • Signals lists the anomalies and metric shifts the Co-founder flagged. Dismiss the ones you’ve already handled.

Public diary

Turn on Settings → Delivery → Public diary to publish an anonymized version of your recent briefings on a public URL, for building in public. Turn it off at any time.
